Cheng Yueh-Tsai rose from humble beginnings to become a pioneering business leader. In his early years, he worked as a theater actor and journalist before venturing into the fields of business, hospitality, and tourism, where he emerged as a multifaceted entrepreneur. With sharp market instincts and innovative thinking, he created the Rihui International brand—a resort infused with storytelling and creativity. Through his “smart wellness” concept, he opened a new chapter in senior tourism, demonstrating his vision and determination as a true “trend dream-maker.”
As early as the 1990s, Cheng proposed the idea of “cross-industry alliances” and emphasized the importance of cross-border cooperation. He foresaw that future business competition would shift from individual companies to industry chains and ecosystems. Decades of practice have proven this insight: countless cross-sector collaborations and industry alliances have reshaped the global business landscape. Ambassador AL Busyra Basnur is a distinguished Indonesian diplomat and a prominent figure in public diplomacy. He currently serves as Honorary Chairman of the World Business Federation – Indonesia Chapter and President of the Indonesia–China Friendship Association. With extensive experience in international relations, public diplomacy, and cross-cultural engagement, he has made outstanding contributions to strengthening Indonesia’s economic and cultural exchanges worldwide—especially with China—and to fostering cross-border cooperation.
Over a diplomatic career spanning more than 30 years, Ambassador Basnur has held several key positions, including Consul General of Indonesia in Houston, USA; Secretary of the Directorate General of Public and Information Diplomacy at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Ambassador to Ethiopia, concurrently accredited as Ambassador to Djibouti and Permanent Representative to the African Union. Through these roles, he has developed deep expertise in multilateral cooperation, strategic international communication, and interregional economic relations, while also promoting entrepreneurial networking and global connectivity.
As a scholar-diplomat, Ambassador Basnur is the author of Quality Thinking in the 21st Century and Ethiopia: Do What to Do Ambassador. He donated these works to educational and academic institutions to promote cultural and intellectual exchange, advocating the use of ideas and knowledge as bridges for global understanding and international cooperation in business and diplomacy.

S. Suryadi H (Li Changzu) is a highly respected leader in the Indonesian Chinese community and a dedicated advocate of cultural and social cooperation. With extensive experience in community leadership, organizational management, and international cultural affairs, he has played an active role in business chambers, Chinese associations, and bilateral exchange initiatives.
As Chairman of the Board of the Indonesia–China Friendship Association (PPIT), Mr. Suryadi has actively fostered collaboration between local governments, social organizations, and business communities from both countries, advancing global business cooperation and enhancing mutual understanding. He has often represented Indonesia at bilateral forums, cultural events, and official dialogues, serving as a bridge of cooperation between the two nations.
In his capacity as Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, he has led delegations and facilitated entrepreneur networking, strengthening economic cooperation projects between Indonesia and China, and creating valuable business-to-business opportunities.
Within the Chinese community, Mr. Suryadi also serves as Chairman of the Jakarta Li Clan Association, where he has organized delegations to visit overseas clan associations, strengthening solidarity and cultural exchange among global Chinese diaspora communities. Tenggono Chuandra Phoa (潘锭钏) is a distinguished business leader and an influential figure in Indonesia’s Chinese community. He currently serves as Secretary General of the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (Periklindo) and Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Chinese Surname Association (PSMTI). Through these leadership roles, he has played a pivotal part in Indonesia’s economic development, community advancement, and the strengthening of bilateral ties between Indonesia and China.
In the electric vehicle (EV) sector, Mr. Phoa has been at the forefront of industry innovation and policy development. He has provided strategic insights into EV incentive policies, market expansion, and manufacturing ecosystem building, including the establishment of local CKD (completely knocked-down) facilities. His guidance serves as a bridge between upstream and downstream enterprises, driving the growth of Indonesia’s EV industry and supporting the country’s energy transition and sustainability goals.
As an active leader in the Chinese-Indonesian community, Mr. Phoa has made remarkable contributions to cross-border cooperation, entrepreneurial networking, and people-to-people exchanges.
